Vince Young Will Redeem Himself in 2010

Vince Young sure doesn't need to redeem himself from troubles on the field. He took care of that last season.

After an unpredictable 0-6 start, Young took over under center and led the Tennessee Titans to an 8-2 finish.

Young answered his critics. He stayed calm and composed in the pocket, he executed traditional NFL reads, and he was a passer first, scrambler second.

After overcoming LP Field boos, being benched, and a media-created suicide story, Young finally looked like the player drafted third overall back in 2006.

Superman finally recovered from his kryptonite, but then he slipped up.

Young was in Dallas for an autograph session, but later hung out with a friend who persuaded him to go to a strip club. A club employee who happened to be in a provoking mood, flashed Young an upside-down "hook em' horns" sign. Young's composure snapped and he attacked the man.

It was an irresponsible move by Young, who later apologized.

Young is on thinner ice than he's ever been, but great players are able to overcome adversity.  Vince Young will redeem himself in 2010.
