New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie gave the team (Bart Scott) quite a scare on Monday when rumors surfaced that he was suffering from a lingering hip issue.
However, Cromartie's agent Gary Wichard claimed that there was no lingering issues from a cracked hip he suffered in 2008. In fact, that was his right hip. It was his left hip that kept him out of minicamp for a few days.
"His hamstring was fatigued and his hip was fatigued," Wichard told Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News. "It wasn't a big deal. At the end of the day, it was not the same hip that was hurt two years ago. It's a nonissue. It was nothing. It's typical training fatigue. He's fine."
New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson is newly inked and ready for green and white glory.
